Our Story

Footbeats was founded as a children's footwear specialty store in November of 1984 in Holyoke, MA. During the first 10 years, we operated as Kiddie Kobbler, but changed our name to Footbeats to appeal to older children. We expanded with a new store each year for the first 6 years, adding locations in Western MA and CT. In September 2012, we expanded to the Albany, NY area with our newest locations. We added women's and men's comfort and wide footwear to our Enfield, CT location in the late 1990s. When we opened in Canton, CT, we began as a full-service store with a full assortment for the entire family.

Our knowledgeable fit specialists are expertly trained to measure feet and fit shoes correctly. We also offer a shoe club for deals, where customers can buy 10 pairs of regularly priced footwear and get the 11th pair half off. Additionally, we provide fast and reliable shipping, with free shipping on orders over $40, as well as a 60-day return policy for unworn shoes.
