At Stigma Ink, we are a family-owned and operated tattoo and piercing studio, dedicated to providing a unique and personalized experience for our clients. Our story began over a decade ago, when our founder, Chino, had a dream to create a studio that would not only provide high-quality tattoos and piercings but also a welcoming and professional environment for our clients.
Our History
Founded by Chino and his long-time best friend, Jason (Edgar) Penagos, Stigma Ink originally began in Guadalajara, Mexico, before moving to the United States. Unfortunately, Edgar passed away in 2008. However, Chino spent the next 13 years working in the tattoo supply business, traveling, and meeting artists from all over the world. With the help of his wife, Mariely, and after many years of careful planning and preparation, Chino's dream was finally realized in the heart of Tampa, Florida, in 2011.

Our talented team of artists has been handpicked for their exceptional skills, creativity, and attention to detail. Each of our artists has their own unique style and flair, ensuring that our clients receive a truly personalized experience. Our team includes:
- Charlie Smith: With a background in Studio Art from the University of South Florida, Charlie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. His artistic skills were honed through years of apprenticeship at Stigma Ink.
- Trent Castellano: Trent's passion for tattoos and piercings stems from his lifelong passion for art. His experience and skillset have been refined through extensive training and apprenticeship.
- Eugenio Correa: With a deep understanding of traditional tattooing techniques, Eugenio brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. His artistic flair and attention to detail ensure that each of his clients leaves the studio feeling satisfied and thrilled with their new tattoo.
- Will: With years of experience in the tattoo and piercing industry, Will has honed his skills to become one of the most sought-after piercers in the region. His extensive knowledge of piercing techniques and attention to detail ensure that every piercing is performed to perfection.
