At Louisiana Healthcare Practitioners (LHCP), we are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to our community. Established in 2006, our mission is to make healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay or socioeconomic status. We have grown from two small clinics to a network of five rural health clinics, serving the communities of Cottonport, Simmesport, Mansura, Marksville, and Palmetto.

We also have a patient portal that allows our patients to access their medical records, schedule appointments, and communicate with our healthcare team.

Our History

LHCP was founded by Herndon "Buzz" Jeansonne, who saw a need for quality healthcare in underserved areas. Under his leadership, our clinics have expanded their hours of service, providing accessible healthcare to those who need it most. Our clinics are comprised of rural health clinics that address the inadequate supply of physicians in underserved areas by utilizing Nurse Practitioners to provide quality patient care.
