Our Story

Our journey began in 1978 when Peter "Stephen" Milewics and Dan "Duvall" Stephens opened a restaurant on East Bay Street, marking the beginning of Stephen Duvall Associates. As the business grew, so did Charleston's food and hospitality culture. Our founders cultivated lasting relationships with Charleston natives, developing a signature blend of creative, modern cuisine with deep local roots. In 1990, Steve Wenger, a hospitality executive, joined the team, and his marriage to Sheri Grace, a Charlestonian, formed a partnership that shaped the next chapter of Duvall's growth.
