Lance Surveying Services is a family-owned and operated business with a rich history in southeast Iowa. Established in 1984 by John Lance, the company began as Gibson Engineering, reflecting John's extensive experience in the surveying field. Driven by his passion to provide top-notch surveying services, John pursued his professional land surveying license in Iowa and later expanded his expertise to Missouri in 1998.

Joining his father in 2008, Rob Lance, John's son, further solidified the company's commitment to excellence. Rob also earned his professional land surveying license in 2010, ensuring the continuation of a legacy of expertise and professionalism.
