Our History

Hibbs Tax Service has a long and established history of serving the Mid-Missouri area. Established in 1992 at 1003 Morley Street, the business experienced remarkable growth in its early years. By 1996, Hibbs Tax Service had outgrown its original location and moved to 102 South Williams Street. The momentum continued, leading to the expansion of the office building in 1997 and the addition of new team members. In 1998, the company was sold, but founder Mark Hibbs continued to provide tax preparation services from his home office. In 2011, Hibbs Tax Service returned to its public roots, opening its doors at its current location at 630 N Morley Street, where it continues to provide exceptional service to its valued clientele.

Our Team

At Hibbs Tax Service, we bring nearly 100 years of combined professional experience to the table. Our dedicated team is committed to exceeding your expectations and addressing all your tax and accounting needs. Mark Hibbs, EA, our founder, brings over four decades of experience in the tax field. His journey began at H&R Block in the early 1980s, where he gained valuable insights and honed his skills. Drawing upon his deep understanding of taxation, Mark serves as the primary tax preparer and head accountant for the firm.
