Our History

Shipman Auto Parts was founded by Charley Shipman in 1935, and four generations later, we remain one of the premier auto recyclers in Minnesota today. Our journey began with a small yard of approximately 13 acres and 1200 cars, which has grown significantly over the years. We've come a long way from the early days of keeping track of inventory on paper to a comprehensive computerized inventory system with multiple search engines. Our dedication to customer service has remained constant, and we continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our business.
