TerX Shredding & Recycling Co. LLC is a family-owned and operated business founded in 2013, committed to providing superior customer service with a hometown family feel. Located in Brokaw, Wisconsin, our knowledgeable team is ready to help you with fast and friendly service. We serve both Business/Industrial customers and the general public throughout Central & Northern Wisconsin.

Our company has been serving industrial/business accounts across Central and Northern Wisconsin since 2013, and we opened our doors to the public on August 4, 2014. We have many years of experience in the scrap recycling industry, and our employees are equipped to serve you with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. We also offer free on-site inspection and price quotes for your scrap.

At TerX Shredding & Recycling, we are environmentally conscious and committed to abiding by all state and federal laws and regulations. Our scrap yard is located on a clean paved surface, which allows us to keep vehicles and scrap metals free of dust, dirt, and mud. We are equipped with a new 75' truck scale for weighing trucks and trailers, ensuring more accurate weights for our customers' scrap metal.

Services Offered

We take Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals, as well as Vehicles with and without engines, and Appliances. Our facility is conveniently located just north of Wausau in the Village of Brokaw, making it easily accessible for our customers.

Public Services

For the general public, we offer scrap metal recycling services at our yard located at 107 Everest Ave., Brokaw, WI, 54417. Our hours of operation are available on our website, and we can be reached at 715-675-0680. We also accept the following items:

• Appliances - $15.00 charge for each item
• Air Conditioners
• Dehumidifiers
• Freezer & Refrigerator (if compressor is removed and you provide documentation from a certified remover)
• Sheet Iron
• Plastic Dishwashers - $5.00 charge for each item

We accept cash only, or we can take the fee off of the total if you have other scrap. Customers are expected to unload their scrap material themselves. However, our heavy equipment is available to assist with heavier pieces. The only exception is junk vehicles, which we will lift off of trailers for you.

Items NOT Accepted include light bulbs, small household batteries, dishwashers, electronics, precious metals, treadmills, new all-plastic microwaves, aerosol cans, oil/gas (fluids in small engines), stainless steel sinks with black coating, sealed units (100 lb minimum), auto batteries, and certain types of farm machinery. Business/Industrial Services

For our Business/Industrial customers, we offer the following services:

• Lugger and roll-off boxes and/or trailers, as needed at any time for no charge
• Covers for lugger boxes can be provided upon request
• Forklift boxes and self-dumping hoppers to use inside your facility
• Trucks equipped to pull pup trailers, allowing us to haul multiple boxes to and from your sight
• Pick-up within 24 hours, set scheduled pick-ups, Saturday and/or Sunday pick-ups, and a 24/7/365 phone number for emergencies
• Semi-trailers and large containers for large amounts of scrap from major scrap clean-ups, picking up large obsolete machines and equipment
• A crane can also be provided if needed
