Coe Studios has been crafting heritage-quality outdoor lighting for over three decades. Founded in 1984 by sculptor and metalsmith Jerry Coe, the company is dedicated to creating durable, elegant fixtures that stand the test of time and gracefully enhance any garden, walkway, or driveway. Our passion lies in fusing time-honored craftsmanship with contemporary design to bring exquisite illumination to outdoor spaces.

Jerry Coe's journey as an artisan began while apprenticing at Yosemite National Park's Pioneer History Center, where he learned the traditional techniques of blacksmithing, woodworking, and wheelwrighting. This formative experience fostered a deep appreciation for the inherent beauty and durability of natural materials. Upon establishing his Berkeley studio in 1984, Coe's expertise extended beyond restoration and fabrication to encompass the creation of Architectural Lighting. The launch of Coe Studios Architectural Lighting in 1989 marked a significant step in bringing his artistic vision to life through functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions.
