Camp Pinnacle

At Camp Pinnacle, we are a Bible camp and retreat center dedicated to helping people walk in God's paths since 1898. Our mission is to lift up Jesus Christ, develop Christian character in young people, and provide them with a happy and wholesome vacation. We aim to establish ourselves as a beautiful, friendly place for individuals and groups to experience the grace of God in the Capital Region, enhancing the ministry of the local church by partnering with them and other ministries.

Our Team

Our team is dedicated to serving the Lord and guiding our campers on their spiritual journey. We believe that our team members are not just staff, but are called to serve as role models and mentors for our campers. We strive to provide a safe, supportive, and loving environment for all our campers and guests.

We accept the Holy Bible as the authoritative Word of God and adhere to traditional Biblical Christian values in ministry and practice. We believe in the importance of spiritual growth and the power of prayer, and we strive to live according to God's teachings and commandments.

History

Camp Pinnacle was founded in 1898 after Harriet Christie asked the young girls in her Sunday School class if they would like a place to get away during the summer. So was born the first summer camp in America founded exclusively for girls. By 1909, the camp was serving 800 summer campers! Over the years, we have grown and expanded our programs to include summer camps, family camps, retreats, and conferences, all aimed at promoting growth in Christ and practical service.
