Welcome to Creekside Kennels, your trusted pet care provider in Franklin, NC. We understand that leaving your pets behind when you're away can be a stressful experience, which is why we strive to provide a "home away from home" for your beloved furry friends. Our kennel is located on 9 beautiful acres beside Ellijay Creek, providing a serene and comfortable environment for your pets.

At Creekside Kennels, we prioritize the safety, cleanliness, and well-being of all our canine and feline guests. We have 31 runs of various sizes, all of which are heated and air-conditioned to ensure your pets' comfort. We have a large grass exercise yard where our canine guests can play and socialize twice a day. We also understand that every pet has unique needs, and we are more than happy to cater to your dogs' specific requirements. For instance, if you have an older dog that prefers companionship over exercise, we can arrange for them to spend time with us in the reception area.

We welcome all breeds and sizes of dogs and cats to stay with us. Our goal is to make their stay as enjoyable as possible, and we treat every pet as a part of our family. We encourage potential clients to visit our facility and meet our team, and we welcome you to bring your pet along for the tour. Our hours of operation are as follows:

• Monday - Friday: 8am - 11am, 3pm - 6pm
• Saturday: 8am - 12pm
• Sunday: 12pm - 3pm

Our Services

At Creekside Kennels, we offer a range of services to meet your pets' needs, including:

• Dog Boarding: We have three sizes of runs to choose from, all of which include two play sessions per day. Our rates are as follows:

+ Extra Large: $60 for one or two dogs, $20 per additional dog

+ Large: $35 for one dog

+ Standard: $30 for one dog, suitable for dogs up to 35lbs

• Day Boarding: We offer day boarding services for $25 per day, available Monday - Friday depending on availability.
• Cat Boarding: We offer cat boarding services for $20 per cat.
• Special Services: We offer additional services, such as special handling, incontinence care, and time-sensitive medications, subject to rate adjustment. Please discuss your needs with us at the time of reservation.

Rates and Policies

We require all dogs to be at least 6 months old to stay at Creekside Kennels. Our cat guests must also be at least 6 months old. All dogs must have current rabies, DHLPP, and bordetella vaccinations, while cats must have current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. We require a copy of your pets' vaccination records either before or at the time of check-in, and we do not make exceptions to this policy.

We recommend bringing your pets' own food to minimize disruption, but we also provide food at no additional cost. Check-out after 12 noon incurs an additional 1/2 day charge, and payment is due when you collect your pet. We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards for payment.

• How old does my dog need to be to stay with you?

Your dog must be at least 6 months old to stay at Creekside Kennels.

• Are there any breeds of dog that you do not allow?

We accept all breeds and sizes of dogs.

• Do you administer medication/supplements?

We administer medication/supplements at a charge of $1.00 per dose, with additional fees for services provided before or after hours.

• What vaccinations are required?

We require all dogs to have current DHLPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations. Cats are required to have current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.

• Do I need to bring my dog's own food?

We recommend bringing your pets' own food to minimize the disruption caused by a stay in kennels. However, we do also supply food at no additional cost.
