At Skylab Recording Studios, we are a professional audio production studio located in Gainesville, Florida. Founded in the early 1990s, we have been dedicated to serving the diverse and ever-growing music scene in Florida. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of artists and genres, from punk and hip-hop to rock, country, and techno. Our studio is equipped to handle any type of music, from full choirs to novice vocalists.

Our Goal

Our goal at Skylab Recording Studios is to provide our clients with the best possible experience and quality of work. We understand the pride and passion that goes into creating music, and we strive to capture the essence of our clients' art. Our engineers and producers treat each project with dedication, passion, and a commitment to excellence.

Staff

Our team consists of experienced engineers and producers who have worked with some of the most renowned artists in the music industry. Mark Pinske, our senior engineer, has worked with Frank Zappa, Bobby Brown, Stevie Wonder, Steve Vai, and many others. Gerry King, our chief engineer, has a background in tracking, mixing, and mastering, and has worked with companies like Universal Music Group, as well as local independent artists.

Facilities

Our studio is located in a 25' x 34' main room with two isolation booths, full floating oak hardwood floors, 2 glass panel windows, and sand-filled isolation walls. This room is designed to produce excellent sound quality and provide a comfortable environment for our clients.
