Our Story
Our practice was founded by Dr. Jack C. Shea, who has a personal connection to the importance of eye care. Growing up, Dr. Shea suffered from bad eyesight, which sparked his desire to help others achieve good vision health. With this passion in mind, Dr. Shea embarked on a career path that would eventually lead him to become a healthcare professional.

At NuView Optometry, we have a team of experienced doctors who specialize in comprehensive vision exams and the treatment and diagnosis of eye conditions and diseases. Our friendly staff is always available to answer any questions you may have regarding your insurance coverage, help you select the perfect frames and lenses, and find the best fit for contact lenses. We genuinely care about your healthcare needs and strive to provide excellent personal service to each of our patients.
About Dr. Jack C. Shea
Dr. Jack C. Shea is a licensed optometrist with extensive experience in general optometry clinical practice, contact lenses, low vision, and pathology detection and treatment. Dr. Shea has received extensive education and training, including a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. He has also received honors in the clinical outreach program from NSU College of Optometry.
