Your Source for Building Materials in Georgia
Griffin Lumber & Hardware has been a locally-owned family business since 1898, serving South Georgia with a comprehensive range of building materials and hardware. Originally established as Cordele Sash, Door and Lumber Company, we have continuously evolved while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer service. Our operations expanded from a single retail store and sawmill to eight locations across Georgia, offering products like lumber, engineered wood, windows, doors, millwork, flooring, and custom cabinetry. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable staff, who assist both contractors and DIY homeowners in selecting the right materials for any project. Our history includes overcoming challenges such as the 1958 sawmill fire, which led to strategic relocations and modernization efforts. In 2013, we rebranded to reflect our growth and diversified product offerings. Today, we remain dedicated to providing specialized solutions, including jobsite delivery and special-order items, ensuring we meet the unique needs of every customer. Our partnerships with industry-leading brands like Shaw Flooring and Delta Faucets further enhance our value proposition. With over a century of experience, we continue to uphold the principles of reliability, expertise, and community focus that have defined our business since its inception.
