Meet the Team

Shama Dental Lab is more than just a lab-it's a family dedicated to excellence in dental artistry and service. At the heart of it all is Abbad Alshammaa, our founder and a certified dental laboratory technician with over three decades of experience. Abbad's passion for dentistry began in 1993 when he earned his Dental Lab Certification from Bates Technical College. He furthered his expertise by earning his CDT (Certified Dental Technician) in 1996, specializing in the intricate field of All-on-X implant cases. Abbad's dedication to this field has earned him a respected position within the dental community; he has been an invaluable partner at the Washington Academy of General Dentistry since 2017, actively contributing to its Implantology program.

Sharing Abbad's fervor for dentistry is his daughter, Joudi Alshammaa, a graduate of the University of Washington. Bringing fresh perspectives and enthusiasm, Joudi's presence strengthens our commitment to innovation and patient-centered care.

The family-centric values of Shama Dental Lab extend beyond the lab walls. Abbad, in addition to his daughters Joudi, Jenna, and Jasmine, shares his love for family gatherings and diverse hobbies, including art, fishing, scuba diving, and music.
