Platinum Productions is a full-service recording studio and video production company that has been serving clients throughout the Greater New York Metropolitan area and nationwide. Located just 60 minutes north of NYC in the picturesque Hudson Valley, our proximity gives us convenient access to some of the most talented actors and musicians in the industry in a relaxing and inspirational recording environment. Our company began with a basic love of music, and President Phil Bulla has always had the music in him. He began as a young boy playing in brass bands with the Salvation Army and was featured on I've Got a Secret at the age of nine. Phil grew and progressed into a professional musician and is a former trombonist from the big bands of Gerry Mulligan and Buddy Rich. He then moved from the stage to the studio in 1978 and began working for popular artists including Billy Joel, Michael Bolton, and Whitney Houston. His work may be seen and heard on television shows produced by HBO, ABC, ESPN, USA Network, and Disney. Phil has produced and engineered numerous recordings that have achieved Gold and Platinum status, and he has earned seven Grammy nominations and an Academy Award.
