Freestate Electric has been serving the Washington Metropolitan, Northern Virginia, and Greater Maryland areas since its inception in 1984. We operate from five locations and proudly employ more than 800 highly skilled union craftsmen. Our Services

For over 30 years, Freestate Electric has provided general electrical construction services for commercial and industrial projects. Our services range from banks and schools to hotels and government facilities. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including design build, government, industrial, new construction, pre-fab, retrofit, and more. Our skilled electricians, experienced project managers, and thorough estimating department are able to meet the unique challenges of all types of construction projects regardless of size or complexity.

Our Locations

We have multiple locations across the DC Metro Area, including Laurel, Maryland - HQ, Owings Mills, Maryland, Cumberland, Maryland, and Springfield, Virginia. Our locations enable us to efficiently serve a wide range of projects and clients across the region.
