Our mission is to provide compassionate care for your pet and to help them live the happiest and healthiest life possible. We are a small practice in size, but we offer great client service and individualized care for our patients. History of Marion Animal Hospital

Marion Animal Hospital was established in 1970 by Dr. Robert Fanton. The practice was purchased in 1983 by Dr. Marvin Schmitt, who discontinued equine work to focus on small animal medicine. Dr. Schmitt owned the practice for 21 years and sold it in 2004 so that he could start enjoying retirement. Dr. Ryan Bock purchased the practice at that time and has owned it since. The practice was totally remodeled during Dr. Bock's ownership but outgrew the facility in the last few years, resulting in the decision to move to our current location at 434 7th Avenue in October of 2021.
