Vail Wine Shop is not just a wine store; it's a comfortable and friendly place to experience wine. Established in November 2011, we are the only wine shop, tasting room, and wine bar in Coupeville that specializes in exclusive and hard-to-find Washington state wines. Our diverse selection of wines comes from the state's finest vineyards, and we offer daily tastings of delicious red and white wines so that you can taste and learn about the wine before you choose it for your table.

Our Love for Washington Wines

At Vail Wine Shop, we are passionate about showcasing the amazing wines of our state. Our love for Washington wines started in November 2011 when we opened our cozy wine shop in the Mariners Court Building. In June 2012, we took our love for Washington wines to the next level by starting our Washington Wine-of-the-Month Club. Our club has grown exponentially since then, and we are blessed to have such a supportive community of wine lovers.

In July 2015, we took another significant step in sharing our love for Washington wines by buying our beautiful historic building and renovating the upstairs apartment into a beautiful vacation rental, VAIL'S VIEW. With an amazing, unobstructed view of Penn Cove and Mt. Baker, VAIL'S VIEW offered wine lovers an opportunity to enjoy our wines while taking in the stunning views of the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to our love for Washington wines, we also offer a selection of tap beer and chowder, making Vail Wine Shop the perfect spot for a night out with friends and family.

Our shop is located at 22 Front Street PO Box 1393 Coupeville, WA 98239-1393, and we are open from 12-5:30 (7:30 on Fridays) Wednesday - Sunday, closed Monday & Tuesday.
