Glenville Golf Club

Glenville Golf Club is a charming 9-hole semi-private golf course nestled in the picturesque hills of central West Virginia. Established in 1939, this course offers a captivating golfing experience with its par 35 layout and 2,840 yards of golf from the longest tees. The club is known for its member-friendly atmosphere, with an "Open to the Public" policy, making it a popular recreational area for local citizens, schools, and tourists alike. Water comes into play on all holes except for the 4th and 8th, while the course is classified as a narrow one, providing a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf for players of all skill levels.

The course boasts three sets of tees, accommodating a wide range of distances from 2,300 to 2,800 yards, ensuring a tailored experience for each golfer. Additionally, Glenville Golf Club offers a putting green and a practice area for working on your short game. Cart rentals, club rentals, and a course map are also available for the convenience of our players.

Clubhouse: A Hub of Entertainment and Comfort

The club offers an impressive clubhouse, designed to provide ample space and entertainment for various events and gatherings. The newly built clubhouse features a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy lounge area with multiple big-screen televisions, banquet and meeting rooms, and a state-of-the-art golf simulator with over 80 golf courses available. Leagues: A Social and Competitive Outlet

Glenville Golf Club is proud to host the popular Thursday Night Men's League, which takes place every week at 5:00 pm. The league follows a stroke play format based on individual handicap ratings, encompassing various skill levels. A variety of prizes and recognitions are awarded, including 1st and 2nd place team, most matches won, low gross, low net, most improved, most birdies, and more. This league provides a fantastic opportunity for golfers to engage in friendly competition while fostering camaraderie and a sense of community.
