Rootstock, located in the heart of Downtown Woodstock, is the premier destination for locally sourced gourmet dishes, global wines, and select whiskies. Our story began in 2017, when we opened our doors with a vision to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. Since then, we have been committed to supporting local and out-of-town artists by offering a vibrant platform to share their music.

Our Philosophy

At Rootstock, we believe in the importance of community and the power of food and drink to bring people together. We source our ingredients locally and globally to craft menus that are both innovative and indulgent. Our Wine Director/Sommelier is highly skilled and passionate about sharing his knowledge with our guests. We offer a wide range of wine lists, including a retail selection of fine wines, and our world-class bourbons are hand-selected to complement our global wine selection.

Our Venue

Rootstock's main level dining room and bar feature a modern industrial decor, with rustic brick walls and soft, warm lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere. Our climate-controlled wine cellar holds our vintage and reserve bottles of low-production wine, and our 2nd-level entertainment space, Vintners Rooftop, offers spectacular 360-degree views of the city. Our rooftop level features comfortable seating, a full bar, and LED lighting that creates a lively and festive atmosphere.

Live Music and Events

Music is an integral part of the Rootstock experience. We feature live music performances, from jazz to acoustic sets, and our events calendar is always filled with exciting events, from wine pairings to live music dinner pairings. Our special events Manager, Eniko Steele, works tirelessly to create unique and memorable experiences for our guests.
