Woodward Canyon Winery is the product of bold dreams and humble roots, founded by Rick Small, a farmer's son turned winemaker who has gained recognition for producing some of the state's finest Cabernets for more than 30 years. Ray Isle of Travel+Leisure described Rick as "a man who makes some of the state's best Cabernets, and has for more than three decades now."
