The School of Ballet Indiana is a premier classical ballet school located in Evansville, Indiana. Our mission is to provide exceptional ballet training to students of all ages and skill levels, from Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet to Pre-Professional and Invitational Levels. We believe that every student deserves a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment to explore their passion for dance.

Our Faculty and Divisions

Our faculty is comprised of highly experienced and trained instructors who are dedicated to providing quality instruction and mentorship to our students. We have a diverse range of Academic Divisions, including Primary Division, Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet, Preparatory (Levels 1-4), Pre-Professional (Levels 5-7), and SBI Ballet Institute (Invitational Level). Each division is carefully designed to cater to the specific needs and abilities of our students, ensuring that they receive a well-rounded ballet education.

Our Services

At The School of Ballet Indiana, we offer a wide range of services to support our students' ballet journey. Our Class Schedule & Calendar is carefully planned to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive ballet education, including technique classes, rehearsals, and performances. We also offer Ballet Indiana Productions, Outreach programs, and a Gallery to showcase our students' talents. Additionally, our La Petite Boite Dance Boutique provides our students with a convenient and affordable way to purchase ballet-related merchandise.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken special precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, including conducting classes and private lessons in-house and virtually, following government mandates, and implementing prescreening and cleaning procedures.
