Kathy Crusi Voice Studio

Katherine Crusi, a renowned Soprano Soloist and Voice Teacher, has been dedicated to helping students unlock their full vocal potential for over 26 years. With a Masters in Vocal Performance from The University of Akron, Katherine's extensive experience spans Opera, Musical Theater, Recital, Concert, and Religious Services, both nationally and internationally. She has received the prestigious accolade of "One Of Philadelphia's 12 Best Voice Teachers" for eight consecutive years by Expertise.com.

Katherine's teaching philosophy emphasizes the uniqueness of each student's voice. She believes that everyone has a unique voice waiting to be discovered. Her approach includes vocalizing and breathing exercises, with a recommendation for daily practice and at least four times weekly practice of repertoire. She encourages parents to create a distraction-free practice space for their child. Katherine's students range from 7th grade to adult, and she welcomes students from all backgrounds.

In addition to her teaching, Katherine is a sought-after Concert, Recital, and Church soloist, often appearing at Welsh Society of Philadelphia events and other National and International Welsh functions. She is a member of and soloist with Cor Cymry Gogledd America, and has won the David Morris Award from the North American Festival of Wales in 2018.

Studio Policies

Lessons can be taken in person or online. It's recommended to practice vocalizing and breathing exercises daily and repertoire at least four times a week. Students are expected to arrive punctually for lessons, and scheduling should be done through Katherine's designated site. If you need to make changes or cancel a lesson, please provide adequate notice to ensure a smooth process.
