Founded in 1970, our course was designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Sr., making us the only Robert Trent Jones championship course in the region. History
Our story begins in 1970, when Robert Trent Jones, Sr. was commissioned to design the course. Named Seabright and later Ocean Pines Golf & Country Club, our course officially opened on June 5, 1972. The inaugural foursome featured golfing greats Billy Casper, Deane Beman, Marty West, and Bob Haley, who participated in a special celebrity match that day.
