At Advocate Christian Counseling, we are dedicated to serving God and the needs of you and your family. We believe that counseling based on the Bible can make a significant difference in your life. Our focus is on helping you lead a joyful, abundant, and peaceful life by providing you with practical tools and guidance through the challenges you face.

Our team is led by L. Reed Elam, MA, LPC-S, who has over 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry and counseling. Reed is an ordained minister and a Licensed Professional Counselor who has earned his Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. He has worked with individuals, couples, families, and children, helping them navigate through their difficulties and achieve personal growth.

Our Services

We offer a variety of counseling services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. These services include:

• Individual Counseling: We provide one-on-one counseling sessions for adults and children. Our goal is to help individuals understand their feelings, behaviors, and thoughts, and to provide them with the tools they need to make positive changes in their lives.

• Child Counseling: We offer counseling services for children of all ages. Our experienced counselors work with children to help them overcome their challenges and develop into emotionally healthy individuals.

• Couples Counseling: Our couples counseling services are designed to help couples build strong foundations and overcome the challenges that can arise in marriage. We believe that a healthy marriage is essential for a fulfilling life.

• Family Counseling: We offer family counseling services to help families navigate through their challenges and develop stronger relationships with each other.

• Christian Counseling: Our Christian counseling services are based on the Bible. We believe that God has the answers for us, and we use sound psychological principles combined with the solid truth of scripture to guide you through your difficulties.
