Our Mission

At MoveNation Dance Academy, our mission is to provide safe and encouraging dance instruction for all ages. We focus on technique and passion, offering dancers the skills they need to succeed in a dance career. Founded in 2018, we continue to grow and share our expertise and passion for dance with the youth and adults in Houston, Texas.

Meet Our Staff

Jennifer San Miguel, Owner/Director, received a minor in Dance and a major in Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. She has extensive experience in teaching private lessons, school programs, and has even worked as a business process and software consultant. Her passion for dance is contagious and inspires her students to reach new heights.

Bethany Meyferth, Assistant Director, started dancing at age 3 and has since explored various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, liturgical, musical theatre, and ballroom. She brings her teaching experience from elementary education and her passion for dance to her role at MNDA.

Christine Janis and Meika Powells are also part of our teaching staff, each bringing their unique style and expertise to the studio. We are proud to have such a diverse and experienced team.

Our Services

We offer a range of services including dance classes, private lessons, studio rentals, and special events. Our classes cater to all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. We also host birthday parties and private lessons for those looking for personalized instruction.
