The Lace Factory

Welcome to The Lace Factory, a truly unique wedding venue located in the heart of Deep River, Connecticut. Nestled along the banks of the Connecticut River, our historic venue offers a romantic and unforgettable setting for your special day.

Our story begins in 1875, when the building was first constructed as a local shipbuilding yard. Over the years, it has served many purposes, including dockage for the ivory being delivered to local piano factories and a center of activity for the Deep River Landing. Today, The Lace Factory stands as a beautiful wedding venue with a rich history and a picturesque location.

The Lace Factory is conveniently located between New York and Boston and is easily accessible from Route 9, as well as Interstates 95 and 91. The Deep River Landing, where our venue is located, offers a gazebo park with a picnic area and boat launch, providing a charming backdrop for your wedding photos.

Our Packages

At The Lace Factory, we offer a wide range of wedding packages to accommodate both small, intimate weddings and larger celebrations. Our packages include:

• Elopement Package: January - August 2024, for 16 - 55 guests, featuring a ceremony at The Lace Factory, restaurant-style reception, full open bar, cake & dessert, and more.
• Winter Wedding Package: November 15 - March 31st 2024, for 18 - 45 guests, featuring a ceremony at The Lace Factory, reception in our Riverview Room, full open bar, cake & dessert, live acoustic music on site, and a hospitality suite.
• 2024 Wedding Package: Discounted rates for April - August 2024, for 50 to 225 guests, featuring an indoor/outdoor ceremony at Lace, full reception, full open bar, cake & dessert, on site hospitality suite, day of wedding attendant, and more.
• 2025 Package: For upcoming 2025 weddings, featuring a ceremony and reception at The Lace Factory, full open bar, cake & dessert, on site hospitality suite, day of wedding attendant, and more.

Our Venue

The Lace Factory offers a variety of spaces for your wedding, including our Riverview Room, which is perfect for smaller events. Our venue boasts beautiful hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and large windows that provide plenty of natural light and stunning views of the Connecticut River.

In addition to our indoor spaces, we also offer outdoor ceremony sites, including a gazebo and a waterfront area, providing a romantic and unforgettable setting for your wedding.
