Applied Coatings, located in Lodi California, has been serving the valley and bay area for 20 years. Production Coating

At Applied Coatings, we specialize in high volume coating for a variety of industries. Our production coating services cater to architectural, electronics, automotive, and agricultural clients, among others. We use Iron phosphate and Chem film pretreatments to protect the substrate from corrosion and promote adhesion of the coating applied. Our extensive range of colors ensures that we can find the right one for your project, whether it's a two-stage or three-stage coating.

Custom Powder Coating

In addition to our production coating services, we offer high-quality custom powder coating to suit your project's needs. From high-end street rods and custom motorcycles to patio furniture and ornamental iron, our attention to detail in prep and masking results in a beautiful finish that is also extremely durable. Our pick-up and delivery service makes it easy to get your items to and from our facility, and our experienced team is always available to answer any questions you may have.

Media Blasting

At Applied Coatings, we utilize media blasting to remove any old paint or corrosion on the part to be coated. Our chemical degreasing process ensures that the surface to be coated is free of any oil or grease that would result in a poor finish. We have the capability to cure items up to 22' long, allowing us to coat large items such as car frames and gates. Our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard, and we pride ourselves in quality coating, great customer service, and quick turnaround.

Preparation

At Applied Coatings, we use a 5-stage iron phosphate prep system to provide a protective coating on the substrate and promote adhesion of the coating applied. We also offer Chem Film in chromate and non-chromate for aluminum. Our media blasting service is available for corroded parts or parts that have been previously painted.

Coating

We offer coating from a variety of manufacturers in a wide range of colors, glosses, textures, and formulations to suit your needs. Coatings are applied to manufacturers' specs with testing to ensure proper thickness and adhesion. Our powder coating booths utilize self-purging cartridge filters and high-efficiency final stage filters to ensure no cross-contamination. We also offer wet coating on a variety of substrates.

Masking

Our masking department handles any masking or plugging needed to keep powder out of unwanted areas such as the inside of motor casings and tight tolerance areas. We have thousands of colors and textures to choose from, including two and three-stage finishes such as transparents and metallics. Different clears can also be added to increase or decrease gloss.
