Chapin Logistics is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated freight carrier based in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Since 1926, the company has been dedicated to providing top-notch transportation solutions to its customers in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Western Pennsylvania. With over 75,000 square feet of storage space in North Ridgeville, OH, we can accommodating both short-term and long-term storage needs. Our North Ridgeville location is also a designated Foreign Trade Zone, making it an ideal choice for businesses involved in international trade.

Driver Standards

At Chapin, we hold our drivers to the highest standards of safety and professionalism. All drivers must be at least 23 years of age and have a valid Class "A" CDL. We perform thorough background checks, including reviewing driving records (MVRs) for the past three years. Drivers who do not meet our minimum driver standards are not employed by Chapin.

Our ineligible driver criteria include:

• Any driver with more than two (2) at-fault (preventable) accidents in the last three (3) years, or more than one (1) at-fault accident in the last year.
• Any driver with more than five (5) moving violations (including at-fault accidents) in the last three (3) years or more than two (2) moving violations (including at-fault accidents) in the last year.
• Any driver with any of the following violations, regardless of the time period:
