For over 70 years, Collins Funeral Home has been a cornerstone of the Marlborough community, providing compassionate and dignified funeral services to families in their time of need. Since its founding in 1950, the funeral home has been owned and operated by the Sullivan and Fitzgerald families, with a commitment to excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Our History

Founded by John Sullivan, the funeral home was operated by him until his passing. After his death, the business was purchased by Frederick Fitzgerald, a first cousin of President John F. Kennedy and nephew of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. Mr. Fitzgerald owned the funeral home until his death in 1995. In 1996, Richard D. Collins acquired the business from the estate and has since continued to operate the funeral home with the same level of care and dedication.
