Dr. Rhee has extensive experience in alleviating a wide range of physical pains and ailments, from muscle strains and sprains to chronic issues like fibromyalgia and arthritis. Additionally, she offers treatments for mental and emotional stress, anxiety, and depression.
Drawing from the eight major branches of TCM, Dr. Rhee's services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, tui na (Chinese therapeutic massage), moxibustion (a form of heat therapy), cupping, gua sha (scraping therapy), qi gong (breathing exercises), and dietary therapy. These techniques can be used individually or in combination, creating a tailored treatment plan that addresses the root causes of the client's health concerns.
*Acupuncture*: Extremely fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body to stimulate the movement of energy, or qi. This therapy has been proven effective in treating various health issues, including pain, stress, digestive disorders, and reproductive health concerns.
*Chinese Herbal Medicine*: Personalized formulas composed of natural herbs are created for each client to support the healing process and restore balance within the body. Dr. Rhee's extensive training ensures the safe and effective use of these herbs.
*Tui Na*: A therapeutic massage technique, tui na manipulates the soft tissue and joints to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and enhance the overall flow of qi.
*Moxibustion*: This heat therapy involves the burning of mugwort, a Chinese herb, near specific points on the body to stimulate circulation and alleviate pain.
*Cupping*: Suction cups are applied to the skin to promote blood flow, relax muscles, and remove toxins from the body.
*Gua Sha*: A scraping technique that enhances circulation and promotes healing by reducing inflammation and breaking up scar tissue.
