Our Story

Founded in 1982 by Allen Dyer, Bill Bare, and Art Groce, ECMD was born with a vision to simplify, streamline, and remake the modern building materials industry. Over the years, we have expanded our operations to include manufacturing, logistics, and global supply chain management. Today, we are a leading supplier of building materials, including mouldings, boards, pattern stock, windows, doors, stair parts, and more.
