At Joanne Reagan Dance Studios, we believe that dancing not only builds character, discipline, and responsibility but also fosters a love of dance and freedom of self-expression through movement and various dance styles. Our primary focus is on ensuring that our students have fun and enjoy their dance journey with us. We offer a wide variety of dance classes for children of all ages, from toddlers through high school, as well as adult classes.

Our dance studio provides opportunities beyond the classroom. Our experienced dance professionals offer over 50 years of experience in all aspects of the Performing Arts. Our classes include Ballet & Pointe, Tap, Jazz & Hip-Hop, Lyrical & Contemporary, Broadway Theatre, Acro Arts, and Adult Ballet & Tap. We also have a dedicated JRD Company for our more advanced students.

Our Teaching Philosophy

Our teaching philosophy promotes learning in a positive way with lots of individual attention. All of our dance classes for children and teens allow students to feel a sense of pride in their accomplishments. They are encouraged to aspire towards their own personal goals in a manner which celebrates the individual and promotes self-esteem and positive body image.

Our Directors & Teachers

Our directors and teachers are highly experienced and dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching dance. They have studied with renowned artists and have performed with many including Luigi and Gregory Hines. They are members of prestigious dance organizations such as Dance Masters of America, Dance Education of America, and the Professional Dance Teachers Association.

Joanne Reagan Horn, our founder, has been teaching dance for over 50 years. She has studied theatre, speech, movement, and education at Emerson College, University of the Arts, Northwestern University, and Hofstra University. Joanne understands all facets of dance education and has taught across the state of New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Colorado, and Puerto Rico. She is well-respected as a knowledgeable and caring dance educator.
