Our commitment to excellence in furniture care is deeply rooted in our family's history. Richard (Dick) McGuire, the founder of our business, began working with wood in the 1960s. In 1972, he opened his own refinishing shop in Lawrenceville, where he specialized in both commercial and residential furniture. His sons, Mike and Glenn, learned the art of woodworking from a young age and eventually joined him full-time in the 1980s.

In 1991, The Final Touch, Inc. was established when Glenn began focusing on on-site furniture touch-up services, while Mike continued to work with their father. After Dick McGuire's passing, Mike joined The Final Touch, Inc. full-time, and we began offering refinishing services in addition to our on-site touch-up services.

The third generation of the McGuire family entered the business in 2012, as Nathan McGuire, Glenn's son, began working full-time after gaining experience through part-time and summer work. Today, our team continues to grow and expand our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
