The Health Services Association - CCC (HSACCC) has been a cornerstone in the landscape of student health services programs (SHSP) in California's community colleges since 1971. Our organization is dedicated to supporting student success by advocating for the health of California's community college students. • Supporting Health Services: We understand the importance of working together to achieve common goals. That's why HSACCC provides consultation, leadership, and support to health service programs. Our goal is to enhance overall health services quality and ensure that students have access to the care they need.
• Conducting Research: Data is a powerful tool, and HSACCC recognizes its value in informing health services programming. We supply American College Health Association National College Health Assessment (ACHA-NCHA) Consortium & Annual survey data to our active members in the member's area. This data helps us make informed decisions and ensures that our programs are meeting the needs of our students.
• Promoting Communication: Communication is key to success, and HSACCC provides a platform for members to connect, collaborate, and share best practices. Our HSACCC List Serve allows members to send out information to all HSACCC members and receive updates on news and events.
• Legislation Advocacy: The world of health is ever-changing, and HSACCC is dedicated to advocating for major legislative changes that positively impact health services in California Community Colleges.
