Services Offered:
Housing Counseling & Advocacy
- HCP helps DC residents achieve and sustain homeownership, improve credit, avoid foreclosure, and navigate housing challenges.
- Tenant Purchase Assistance Program offers technical assistance and affordable housing asset management to tenants exercising their Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) rights.
Disability Advocacy
- Disability Rights DC (DRDC) champions the human, civil, and legal rights of people with disabilities through individual representation, systemic advocacy, and community outreach.
Assistive Technology Support
- DC Assistive Technology Program connects people with disabilities and seniors to needed assistive technology products and services.
Additional Programs and Services
- Jail & Prison Advocacy Project advocates for the reintegration of former inmates with mental and physical disabilities.
- Protection and Advocacy services ensure the dignity and legal rights of vulnerable individuals.
