About the Artist
Julie Berkowitz is a ceramic artist and educator who lives and works in Chapel Hill, NC. Her work is inspired by her childhood growing up in the Pennsylvania countryside, playing on the shores of Lake Erie, and currently living in the woods of North Carolina. Julie's ceramics often incorporate natural textures, surface decorations, and colors, reminding us of our connection to nature and the world around us.
