Our Story

Driven by a passion for classic elegance and a vision of grandeur, Danise Smith and her daughter Breann Ashford embarked on a journey to transform a 1930s home on I Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Their heartfelt desire was to breathe new life into this historic property, reimagining it as a stunning wedding and event venue. With meticulous care, they renovated the home, creating a lavish bridal suite and a charming party room that would serve as the foundation for The Ballroom at I Street. In 2014, fueled by a vision for a polished, sophisticated space amidst the prevalent rustic and bohemian venues in Northwest Arkansas, they set out to construct The Ballroom. This grand ballroom was designed to provide a truly customizable canvas for couples to personally weave their dreams into their wedding day, free from the constraints of predetermined decor and distractions.

More Than Just a Blank Canvas

The Ballroom at I Street offers much more than just elegant open space. The expansive, beautifully landscaped grounds feature a picturesque courtyard, perfectly secluded by mature trees and meticulously manicured boxwood hedges. This enchanting space provides a picturesque backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail receptions.

Inside, the 15-foot Cambria Brittanicca Quartz bar top invites guests to gather and toast to the happy couple. The exquisitely styled bridal lounge is a sanctuary for the wedding party, complete with four dedicated beauty stations. The groom's suite, a haven for the groom and his entourage, boasts comfortable sectional seating and a flat-screen TV, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere before the ceremony.

Adjacent to the bridal suite is an extended lounge, a perfect space for the bride to share intimate moments with her closest friends and family. Two spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms offer the convenience of guest accommodations, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
