At K-Deck Canvas Corp, we are a team of dedicated professionals who have been providing top-quality canvas and shade solutions to the residents and businesses of Maui and beyond for over three decades. Our journey began in 1979 when our founder, Kay, arrived on Maui and started working as a sailmaker for Spanier & Bourne Sailmakers. Her skills quickly expanded into awning making and custom canvas work, including repairing hang gliders, windsurf sails, and creating unique solutions for clients such as telescope light baffles and curtains for Forestry blinds.

In 1983, Kay established K-Deck Canvas Shop on Alamaha Street behind the Nakasone's Ameritone Paint Store in Wailuku. The business thrived for ten years before moving to its current location at 1942 E. Vineyard Street in Wailuku. In 2001, K-Deck Canvas Corp was officially established, and we have been growing and expanding our services ever since.
