We believe that recovery from mental illness and substance abuse is not only possible but happens every day. At Southern Iowa Mental Health Center, we are committed to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families. Our mission is to empower individuals and families with multiple issues in moving towards recovery and overall well-being.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including mental health therapy, substance abuse treatment, and medication management for adults and children. Our services include Mindfulness Therapy (MT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), among others. We also provide Crisis Services, including 23 Hour Crisis Observation, Crisis Stabilization, and a Crisis Line.
Integrated Health Services
We understand the importance of integrated health services. That's why we offer services such as Genoa Pharmacy, which provides pharmacy services available here in the SIMHC building. Additionally, our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) offers comprehensive outpatient services consistent with evidence-based practices.
