Shawano Lawn and Stone, a renowned landscaping and gardening supply company, has been fulfilling the needs of residents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin since 1979. Our company has a rich history and has been successful in creating a strong reputation as a one-stop shop and resource center for lawn and garden.

The journey began in the spring of 1979 when Steve and Mary Dobberstein decided to open Shawano Lawn and Stone. Over the years, Steve and Mary worked tirelessly to build their business from the ground up, eventually assembling a strong team of employees. By 1991, Mary was able to return to her true love of teaching, leaving Steve to continue to grow the business.

In 1993, the company purchased land along Waukechon St. and built the current store building that winter. Over the next 20 years, numerous changes and additions took place on the property, enabling Shawano Lawn and Stone to expand its services and offerings to customers.

Our commitment to providing exceptional landscaping and gardening supplies, along with our dedicated team of experts, has allowed us to establish a loyal customer base. Our Garden Center is home to our Nursery and Gift Shop, where customers can explore seasonal plants and gifts, or get ideas for their next project with the help of our knowledgeable staff.

We understand the importance of bringing a touch of nature into our fast-paced, tech-driven lives. Tending a vegetable garden, flower garden, houseplants, or an orchard contributes to feelings of purpose and vitality. This is why we offer a wide variety of plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, stone, hardscape supplies, and garden-themed gifts. Our services extend beyond landscaping and gardening. We also offer water drainage solutions, irrigation systems, and snow plowing services. Our team of experts can assist with flattening or creating hills, adding rock walls, ponds, new lawns, and patios.
