Dan Edder, owner and funeral director of Edder Funeral Home, Inc., has been a trusted provider of funeral services in the Girard community since 1976. Dan's dedication to providing compassionate and personalized care to each family he serves is a testament to his commitment to caring for his neighbors.

Dan's interest in funeral service began at a young age, after his father was tragically killed in a traffic accident. The funeral director who handled the arrangements for his father's service made a lasting impression on Dan, inspiring him to pursue a career in funeral service.

Dan spent 11 years at the Bracken Funeral Home in Corry, starting as an intern and eventually becoming an employee. He attended Edinboro University and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1976. Bonnie Burns Edder, Dan's wife of 49 years, serves as office manager and supports Dan in the day-to-day operations of the funeral home.

Dan and Bonnie have three children, Danielle, Matthew, and Kelly. They are proud grandparents to six grandchildren. When not serving families at the funeral home, Dan enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing.
