Established in 1978 by Dr. Chuck Stinchcomb, our animal hospital has been dedicated to providing the highest quality veterinary care to dogs, cats, and livestock in the area. In 2008, Dr. Matt Nichols, a Russell native and KSU graduate, took over the practice with a commitment to continuing the legacy of exceptional care and a focus on meeting the evolving needs of our clients.

Our team of dedicated professionals includes Dr. Matt Nichols, Office Manager Beverly Nichols, and Groomer and Technician Joane Fabian. With a combined 50+ years of experience in the veterinary field, our team is committed to providing the best possible care for your animals.

Dr. Matt Nichols is a sole practitioner who sees a variety of species and performs numerous surgeries. Cases requiring specialized care are referred to appropriate boarded specialists. With a strong background in both veterinary medicine and business administration, Dr. Nichols is well-equipped to handle the diverse needs of our clients.

Beverly Nichols serves as the Office Manager, keeping things running smoothly at the clinic and ensuring that our clients feel at ease. With a background in grant coordination and a commitment to compassionate care, Beverly is an integral part of the Town & Country Animal Hospital family.

Joane Fabian has been a groomer and technician at Town & Country for over 25 years. Known far and wide as a "cat whisperer, " Joane has a special talent for working with even the most anxious animals. With a commitment to making fur clients look and feel their best, Joane is dedicated to providing the highest level of care.
