Committed to providing the best legal services at affordable costs

Privacy Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in the rolling landscape of Massachusetts's northern Berkshires. Nestled against Brodie Mountain, the campground offers a serene and secluded getaway for those looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Established in 1973, Privacy Campground has been a beloved destination for generations of families and friends who return year after year to enjoy the campground's unique blend of privacy and community.

A Haven of Privacy and Community

At Privacy Campground, we believe that camping is about more than just pitching a tent in the woods. It's about creating experiences that draw families together in fun and a shared sense of caretaking. From the well-constructed shower rooms to the children's playground, from the walking trails to the sauna, Privacy Campground creates a welcoming environment that encourages exploration, relaxation, and connection. Whether you are enjoying some time away with friends or taking an extended vacation with your children, you will find the perfect secluded tent or cabin site at Privacy Campground. With 35 private tent sites, cabins, and RV hookups (vans and tent-trailers only), there is something for everyone at our campground.

A Leader in Sustainability and Green Initiatives

Privacy Campground is not only a home away from home; it is also a pioneer in sustainability and green initiatives. In 1994, we became the first green campground in the country, independently verified. Since then, we have been committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices. 100% of all the power at Privacy Campground comes from a hydroelectric power plant, and we also have a wind generator, solar panels, and a gravity water system. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our campground, as we actively promote and support local environmental initiatives.

Amenities and Activities for All Ages

At Privacy Campground, we offer a wide range of amenities and activities for all ages. Our clean and tidy bathhouse includes toilets, showers, and a family shower. Our Recreational Center features indoor games and occasional evening movies, and fire pits and picnic benches are available at each site. We also offer washtubs for laundry and dish washing, a children's playground, ponds with rental boats, a wood-fired sauna, and hiking and walking trails. Our office offers camping supplies, and wildlife watching is a popular pastime, with waterfowl, rabbits, chipmunks, and beavers regularly spotted.

Nearby Attractions and Activities

Privacy Campground is located just minutes from a wide range of nearby attractions and activities. The Tanglewood Music Festival in Lenox, Jacob's Pillow in Becket, and the Berkshire Playhouse in Stockbridge are just a few of the many cultural attractions nearby.
