In 1994, we became the first green campground in the country, independently verified. Since then, we have been committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices. 100% of all the power at Privacy Campground comes from a hydroelectric power plant, and we also have a wind generator, solar panels, and a gravity water system. Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our campground, as we actively promote and support local environmental initiatives.

Our office offers camping supplies, and wildlife watching is a popular pastime, with waterfowl, rabbits, chipmunks, and beavers regularly spotted.
