Our founder, Sam, started building homes in 1978 and has proven to be a strong and honest leader in Calhoun County and the Alabama Building Industry. He has an eye for house plans and has developed many communities of homes that have enhanced Calhoun County and the lives of his customers. Sam is a Licensed and Insured General and Residential Builder. He is a long-time member of the local Greater Calhoun County Home Builders Association, the State of Alabama Home Builder Association, and the National Association of Home Builders.

Sam has been honored to serve on the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Board and has been an active member of the Home Builder Association, leading as president for four terms and receiving the honor as "Builder of the Year" on four occasions with the Calhoun County Association. On the State Home Builder level, he has also received "Builder of the Year" multiple times for the State of Alabama, and the Presidents Award for his work in membership state-wide.

He takes much pride in his work and considers his customers to be a proven asset to his reputation and realizes the role they play in constructing the family home. Sam appreciates the employees, suppliers, and specialists that all work together to accomplish satisfaction in fine workmanship for these families and communities, and considers them a vital part in the success of the building industry.

Sam's wife, Celia, is the broker/owner of the Real Estate Office in Jacksonville, AP Real Estate. The family-operated company markets new and existing homes as well as Property Management.
