We offer a wide range of services, including haircuts, colors, balayage, eyebrow waxing and tinting, airbrush spray tanning, and various formal styles for any occasion. Our experienced stylists are skilled in traditional and airbrush makeup techniques, ensuring a flawless and long-lasting look.

Our Salon

Our main location is in the central Outer Banks, where we host bridal parties and offer standard salon services. Our salon is an inviting space with multiple hair and makeup chairs, a cozy waiting room, and a coffee and mimosa bar for our clients to enjoy while being styled. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for each client.

Meet the Team

Glimmer Hair & Makeup is proud to have a team of talented stylists and artists. Our owner and co-founder, Mollie White, is a hair stylist and makeup artist with a passion for making brides feel beautiful. Amanda Dodson is a skilled hair stylist, while Jessica Szymanski and Livy Schmuck specialize in makeup artistry. Kim Boulter and Caitlyn Thomas are both hair stylists and makeup artists, and Lauren Johnson is our airbrush tanning technician. Additionally, Brittany Johns and Kathryn McCroskey are accomplished hair stylists, contributing to our diverse and experienced team.

Services

At Glimmer Hair & Makeup, we offer a variety of services to meet our clients' needs. Our hair services include cuts, colors, balayage, formal styles, shampoo and style, blow-outs, flat iron, braiding, and clip-in extensions. Our makeup services feature full face, traditional (including contouring), airbrush (also including contouring), and false lashes. We also provide airbrush tanning, eyebrow waxing and tinting, and standard salon services at our main location.

Bridal Packages

We understand the importance of looking and feeling your best on your wedding day. Our bridal packages are designed to provide exceptional service and a personalized look for the bride and her bridal party. Our process includes contacting us with the date for availability, reviewing the menu and selecting services, sending back the contract and retainer, and securing the date. Our team is dedicated to making the experience stress-free and enjoyable.

Birthday Beauties

Glimmer Hair & Makeup also offers birthday parties for little princesses! Our salon is the perfect location for a fun and unique birthday event. The Birthday Beauties package includes renting the whole salon while the birthday girl and her friends get pampered and glammed up. This is a mess-free, stress-free, and exciting alternative to traditional birthday parties.
