If you are a resident of North Omaha, Keystone, or Florence, we are the closest and most convenient place to meet your legal needs. And of course, we have and welcome clients from every part of the Omaha and Sarpy County metro area.
We can meet your legal needs in many different areas. Our primary areas of practice are Criminal Defense, Driving While Intoxicated Charges, Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation, and Wills and Probate. Our extensive experience and knowledge of the legal system will help you navigate through complex legal issues.
Criminal Defense
If you are charged with any type of crime, whether a DUI, a misdemeanor, or a felony, our experience with and knowledge of the prosecutors and judges will help you get the best defense and achieve the most favorable outcome. We have represented clients in every court in the Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Dodge, and Washington Counties, including District Court, County Court, and Juvenile Court; in the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court; as well as the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Personal Injury
If you are injured due to the fault of someone else or while at work, regardless of fault, we will work to help you get the treatment you need to recover from your injury and identify and present the damages you are entitled to under the law. Although most cases can be settled out of court, we have the trial experience that has obtained jury verdict awards for our clients if a settlement cannot be reached.
Wills and Estate Planning
We can help guide you in determining whether you need a Will or can analyze and address your estate goals in some other manner, and can probate your will when that is necessary. We can also handle other legal needs such as deeding your property and other routine civil legal matters.
Gun Law Changes in 2023
In its 2023 session, the Nebraska Legislature made significant changes to the state's gun laws that legalize conduct that was previously illegal, and these changes have required cities and counties to change their laws to comply. In addition, the US Supreme Court has issued rulings that also could affect any weapons charges against you. You should contact a lawyer immediately if you are charged with any type of gun or weapon charge.
