Gammill Construction, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Boise community since 1975. With a rich history of providing exceptional remodeling services, our company has undergone significant transformations over the years. Initially, we specialized in constructing custom homes and providing consulting services to apartment and commercial developers. However, since 1980, our primary focus has shifted to residential remodeling, and we are proud to say that it remains our only business today.

Our Founding Story

Our founder, Walt Gammill, retired in 2007 after years of dedication and service to the construction industry. With a Master's Degree in civil Engineering from Stanford University, emphasizing Construction Management, and a Professional Engineer registration in the state of Idaho, Walt brought a wealth of experience and expertise to our company. Prior to establishing Gammill Construction, Walt spent three years with the U.S. Navy Seabees and nine years in various management roles with private construction companies, including Kaiser Engineers and Morrison Knudsen.

The New Generation

After Walt's retirement, his son, Tim Gammill, took the reins. Tim, a proud Boise native, graduated from Centennial High and earned a degree in Architecture from the University of Idaho. With eight years of experience working for Hummel Architects, Tim gained extensive knowledge in design and project management. He joined Gammill Construction, Inc. in 2003 and has since become the driving force behind the company's continued success.

Achievements and Recognition

Gammill Construction, Inc. is a proud member of the Idaho Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Tim has earned the esteemed designation as a Certified Remodeler (CR), requiring extensive experience, specific preparation, a day-long examination, and continued industry education. Our company has also won numerous industry awards, including Regional Contractor of the Year in 2005 and Remodeler of the Year awards in 1999, 2000, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
