Friends Child Care & Pre-School

Welcome to Friends Childcare & Preschool, a home-based Family Day Care program located in North Levittown. For over 30 years, we have successfully provided day care and educational services to children from all walks of life. Our Director, Patricia MacKenzie, has been both a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher, and has a strong passion for education and child care. With her expertise and dedication, our team has created a warm and loving home environment that fosters growth, learning, and development in every child.

Early Childhood Education

Our experienced teachers provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment that is tailored to the changing individual needs and learning style of each student. We focus on reading and math skills, and use a variety of activities and materials to engage students and promote learning.

Daily Lessons

Our daily lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, while also promoting learning and development. Some of the activities we offer include:

• Preschool activities with a focus on Kindergarten preparation

Nutritious Meals

We understand the importance of a healthy diet for young children. That's why we offer a variety of nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, including hot lunch, breakfast, and two snacks. Our cafeteria is stocked with fresh and wholesome foods, and our cooking classes teach children important skills related to nutrition and healthy eating.

Activities

Our indoor activity center is a spacious sun-filled playroom that provides a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. We offer a variety of toys and materials to engage children's attentions and imaginations, including a playhouse, kitchen center, and tool center. We also have outdoor play areas, a garden, and a variety of toys and equipment for physical activity and free play.
